Today's assembly focussed, in part, on refugees and migrants. Each Monday, pupils then write a poem, thought or prayer to be used in classes for the rest of the week. Today it was AI and AH from Cedar. Lovely words - including safety, belonging, and rights: all-important at Firs https://t.co/Uv6dE7nzAn

I got very emotional reading this to our children today. Very proud of our Y4s who really took on board the message and understood why I felt this message was so important to get across this week. https://t.co/EFryLnEK3h

Today we took some year 6 children to Cannock Chase Forest to take part in different orienteering challenges. We had to navigate ourselves through the forest using maps while coming across obstacles. The children loved it and said they would all do it again! 🌲 🗺 https://t.co/kSJWAqtHyf

So many children have popped into the library to show me their entry today A Series of Unfortunate Events is extremely popular in Y5 and 6 as children look for something more "creepier" to read. https://t.co/4vQeWGGRJ5
