School Improvement Priorities

Firs is on a rapid journey of improvement.  'Leaders have worked tirelessly to develop the quality of education for pupils at the school.'  This academic year, we have three clear priorities for improvement.  They are to:

• Secure sustained improvements in the quality of teaching to ensure consistently strong outcomes for all pupils, especially disadvantaged and lower prior attainers.
• Strengthen leadership at all levels to ensure sustainable school improvement and effective subject leadership.
• Embed a strong, relational behaviour and pastoral culture that supports high attendance, wellbeing, and readiness to learn.
