Supporting Our Community Through the Food Bank

Year 5 have been making a positive difference in our local community by supporting the food bank at our local church. Through their involvement, the children learned about the importance of kindness, generosity and helping those in need. They worked together to collect, organise and prepare donations, gaining a deeper understanding of how food banks support families and individuals facing difficult circumstances. The experience encouraged important discussions about compassion, social responsibility and community spirit. We are incredibly proud of the empathy, maturity and dedication our Year 5 pupils showed as they helped make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
